The country’s foreign exchange reserves fell by 551.7 million, the SBP said

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has said that the country’s foreign exchange reserves have decreased by کروڑ 551.7 million.

According to a statement issued by the central bank, the country’s foreign exchange reserves declined by 55 550 million to 23 23.34 billion in the week ended January 14 due to external debt and other payments.

According to the statement, SBP’s reserves declined by 56 560 million to 17 17 billion, while those of commercial banks declined by 10 million to 6.31 billion.
