New Delhi: (ShaniPK) The first phase of state elections has been completed in Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state. 150 million voters of Uttar Pradesh will exercise their franchise during the seven phases of elections.
Polling was held in 58 seats in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Elections in the state of Uttar Pradesh consist of seven phases. K Aklesh Yadav is the biggest challenge.
The BJP is campaigning against Muslims and Pakistan during the elections. The last phase of UP elections will be held on March 7, state elections in Indian Punjab on February 20 and Manipur on February 28.
