The second richest man in the world sold his plane on public tracking

Bernard Arnault, CEO of luxury goods maker LVMH, is the second richest person in the world. But after getting tired of people trying to track his plane on social media, he has sold it.

During a radio interview, 73-year-old billionaire Bernard Arnault from France said that he is now traveling on chartered planes instead of using his own plane.

“After all the reports we sold the plane, now no one can see where I am traveling because now I travel on chartered planes,” he said.

The planes of Bernard Arnault, Elon Musk and many other celebrities are being tracked and flight data shared with the public by multiple accounts on Twitter.

Bernard Arnault likely started traveling on chartered planes a few weeks ago as his flight data has not surfaced since September.

Bernard Arnault recently surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the second richest person in the world and is currently worth $137 billion.
